Welcome to the LCA Mirror Room
This is a place of honest self-encounter. Here, you are invited to look at yourself with curiosity and care: what is beautiful, what hurts, what has become unhelpful, what you are proud of, and what you may no longer want to carry.
There is no need to judge what you find.
Simply allow yourself to see it.
The Mirror Check-In
A ritual for meeting yourself with honesty
Take 5–10 minutes for this ritual.
Before you begin, take one slow breath.
Let your shoulders soften.
Feel where your body is supported.
There is nowhere else you need to be right now.
1. Notice what is present
Ask yourself: “What has been asking for my attention today?”
It may be a feeling, a thought, a memory, a tension in your body or a question you have been carrying.
You do not have to force an answer. Simply notice what comes up.
2. Listen beneath the surface
Now ask: “What story am I telling myself about this?”
Perhaps there is a familiar belief underneath it.
“I am too much.”
“I am not enough.”
“I should have known better.”
“I have to do this alone.”
Write down whatever comes up.
3. Look again
Gently ask yourself: “Is this the whole truth?”
What might you be overlooking when you look at yourself through fear, disappointment or old expectations?
Try completing this sentence:
A more honest and compassionate perspective could be…
4. Return to yourself
Place a hand on your heart, your arm or somewhere that feels grounding.
Then ask: “What do I need from myself today?”
Not what you need to achieve. Not what you need to prove.
What you need.
Let your answer be simple.
Before you leave
Take one sentence with you:
Today, I want to remember that…
You may return to this room whenever you need to slow down, reconnect with yourself and see your own experience with a little more clarity.
