Welcome to the LCA Inner Cathedral

This is a place for stillness, meaning and inner guidance.

Some questions cannot be answered by thinking harder.
They ask us to slow down, listen and notice what is quietly asking for our attention.

In the Inner Cathedral, you are invited to explore what sits at the centre of your life: what gives you direction, what you value, what you believe, and what you want to remain faithful to.

For some, this may be faith or prayer. For others, it may be love, purpose, values, family, hope or a deep sense of what matters. There is room here for your own language and your own way of making meaning.

The Stillness Ritual
A ritual for returning to what gives you direction.

Take a moment to arrive.

Imagine stepping into the Inner Cathedral. Notice the light.
Notice the quiet. In front of you is an altar with a crown resting on it, and a single candle burning steadily.

Let the altar represent what is currently at the centre of your life.

Then gently ask yourself:

“What is lying on the altar of my life right now?”

“What is truly giving me direction?”

“What have I given to this ____ my time, energy, attention or peace?”

“Does this still fit the person I am becoming?”

“What do I want to give the highest place from now on?”

“What is my inner guidance asking of me today?”

You may write a prayer, a question, a boundary, a decision, a longing or simply one honest sentence.

Before you leave

Complete this sentence:

Today, I want to let ______ guide me.

The crown represents the life entrusted to you.

You are allowed to listen closely to what is asking to lead it.
